Our Friends at Rebel Ideal

If you haven’t heard of Rebel Ideal as of yet, it’s likely because you haven’t really been a part of the alternative fashion scene here in New York City. Natalija Wortman, the lovely designer and beautiful human being behind Rebel Ideal wanted to share with us a few of her new images from her latest collection and we couldn’t say no. As it turns out, Natalija’s been pretty busy, with four different events over the summer, including her upcoming Networking Party with the Set during New York Fashion Week.

In the past few months, she’s also been featured in Vogue UK and has been pretty busy creating new collaborations with various other brands, from clothing designers to bloggers to makeup artists. As an artist herself, Natalija is an avid supporter of the arts, although I wouldn’t blame anyone for saying she leans more to the “dark side”. Check out some of the images from her latest collection, dubbed Fallen Angel, and feel free to share your thoughts. Our personal favorite ( and one of her top sellers as well ), is the Silver Flower Patch Pirate Skull Ring. Which do you like?

Skull Rings and tattoos just always seem to add an edge to any outfit.

Rebel Ideal doesn’t actually sell barbed wire necklaces. This was a custom piece just for the shoot, but all of the jewelry on the site is actually handcrafted / fabricated and completely unique. Definitely want the Designer Whisperer engraved.

Hence the name for the most recent collection being Fallen Angel.

These Arrow Earrings seem like jade, but they are actually textured, aged brass, befitting of an alternative brand. Still, they make a great pairing for a more refined / minimalist outfit.

Of course, you can also meet Natalija during Day Two of NYFW SS 2017, where she will be one of the featured designers at the Set’s New York Fashion Week networking event and presentation. A portion of the event’s proceeds go to charity and there’s nothing better than a fashion show with a charitable cause.
